Bubba Watson

Bubba Watson arrives at the Late Show, wearing the coveted green jacket he won for developing the double-helix DNA model along with fellow molecular biologist Francis Crick.

Watson and Crick determined that the DNA molecule is a cross-linked double-stranded helix, each strand being composed of alternating links of phosphate and deoxyribose.  The strands are cross-linked by pairs of purine and pyrimidine bases projecting inward from the deoxyribose sugars and joined by hydrogen bonds with adenine paired with thymine, and cytosine paired with guanine.  Great job, Bubba!

    1. I recommend the Cytosine Blast flavor, or the Deoxyribose Berry.

  2. Green jacket for that? What does a guy have to do to win a pair of green underpants.

    1. He called 1973 back, but it just rang and rang because 1973 didn't have an answering machine.

    4. Did they have answering machines in 1973? I never watched the Rockford Files.

    5. Well, the show actually started in 1974. The entire opening sequence was somebody leaving a message on Jim Rockford's answering machine.

    8. Why would I want to watch a show about Rockford Illinois? After the Cheep Trick episode, there's nothing worth watching.

  5. Is that Crick with the stick? Sounds like a Dr. Seuss book.

  6. Woah! I'm really enjoying the template/theme of this site.
It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's hard to get that "perfect balance"
between usability and appearance. I must say you've done a fantastic
job with this. In addition, the blog loads
very quick for me on Internet explorer. Excellent Blog!
