Seth Rogen

Congratulations, Seth!

Not only are you the current featured CelebriGum star…

…you're also the star of the CelebriGum Halloween Edition!

Bonus Holiday "Fun":

Print and cut out these tiny shapes, then attach them to your own wad of used gum to make a festive Halloween "Gumpkin"!

Or just imagine briefly what it would be like to do that, and save yourself a lot of time and aggravation.

Chaz Bono

CelebriGum salutes the brave Chaz Bono, who was eliminated from "Dancing With The Stars" this week.  Chaz was voted off despite his spirited performances of the Rumba, the Quickstep, the Tango, the Chicken Dance, the Mexican Hoop-de-Doo, the Military Runaround, the Robot Shuffle, and the Dizzy Hipster.

As you may have guessed, I have never seen "Dancing With The Stars."

Guest Photographers

When you've got a project that involves taking pictures of famous people with old gum, naturally lots of folks want to get involved.

Here are some photos taken by my colleagues when I've been too busy.

Bryan Cranston.  Taken by….

Eric Stangel.

Johnny Galecki from "The Big Bang Theory."  Taken by…

Alex Buly.

Ryan Gosling.  Taken by…

Todd Seda.

Justin Timberlake.  Taken by...

Thank you, gentlemen!  YOU are the stars!

Not really, of course.

Hugh Jackman

More trouble for the embattled U.S. Postal Service.

Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe has announced that the costly, unpopular "Priority Mail Delivered By Hugh Jackman" program will shut down as of November 1st.

Few postal customers opted for the $1000 service, despite the glamour of having important documents delivered by the star of "Kate & Leopold," "Wolverine," and "The Boy from Oz."  Jackman himself came to regret signing on, reportedly describing the idea as "stupid" and "a huge intrusion on my schedule."

Under questioning by the press, Postmaster Donahoe admitted that the "Postmaster Donahoe Licks Your Envelope" program is also under review.

Two-Thirds of The Police

Stewart Copeland.  Was on the Late Show as part of Drum Solo Week.

Sting.  Was on because he's Sting.  A bit blurry due to the camera focusing on the gum, or maybe tantric techniques kept the shutter open for a long time.

Unfortunately, since he's never been on the Late Show, I had to simulate a CelebriGum photo of guitarist Larry Summers.

Every little thing you do is magic, Larry.  Every breath you take, I'll be watching you.

Tracy Morgan

I'm pleased with this picture.  It's a kind of CelebriGum photo we haven't seen before.

You know who else should be pleased with this picture?  BLS.  Maybe I'll get a few free rides in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, where they have corporate headquarters, as well as from their network of affiliates in over 650 cities worldwide.  With their cutting edge technology, skilled agents, and courteous chauffeurs, BLS is equipped to handle CelebriGum's ground travel needs in a safe, private, and courteous manner.

George Clooney

Get ready.  The Clooney entry is going to be extremely good-looking.

Not only did I get a nice shot of super-handsome George…

… but thanks to my skillful practice of the Dark Arts, we also have the late Rosemary.

Do YOU have a Clooney you'd like to juxtapose with old gum?  Drop a line and maybe I'll include him or her in a future multi-Clooney entry!

Anna Faris

CelebriGum is about worlds colliding.  The celebrity, the paparazzi, blasé Late Show staffers, excited fans, bored limo drivers, puzzled pedestrians and motorists, and crashing the party from above, the inscrutable gum.

I particularly enjoy this collision.  Anna was on the show the same day Jack Hanna brought his animals, and the Anna/Hanna worlds briefly touched.

PETA certifies that no worlds were harmed during the taking of this photo.

(It's the other PETA.  People for the Entertaining Treatment of Absurdity.)

Ewan McGregor

It's time to think outside a different-shaped box!  Presenting the CelebriGum Extreme Vertical Edition!

It may seem stupid now, but according to completelybogusmacrumors.com, Apple is planning a 3 inch by 12 inch iPad.  If the rumor is correct, I need to be ready.  And if the rumor is correct, Apple's going to be in big trouble without Steve Jobs.

I don't have an iPad.  I'm holding out for the ZunePad.

Lenny Kravitz

Check it out!  Lenny kindly agreed to autograph a baseball for me!

He is a baseball player, right?

****30 second intermission while I Google Lenny Kravitz****

Man, do I feel like an idiot.  No wonder he seemed a little confused.

I was thinking of Lenny Dykstra.

Still, a baseball signed by Lenny Kravitz!

Poppy Montgomery

To crop or not to crop?  It's a dilemma that comes up again and again in CelebriGum.

Arguments for the tightly cropped version:

1. Slightly better view of the gum.

2. Slightly better view of Ms. Montgomery, the star of the new CBS drama "Unforgettable."

Arguments for going with the wide shot:

1. You get to see several orange objects, a crane, and at least one person who doesn't give a crap.

2. Once again, a cameo appearance by Radio Man.

3. Many other details to recall later if you're one of the rare people with hyperthymesia, the superior memory possessed by Ms. Montgomery's character on the new CBS drama "Unforgettable."

4. I don't remember the fourth reason.

Coincidentally, I happen to know one of the very few people in the world who has hyperthymesia, Brad Williams.  His brother Eric made a fascinating documentary about him, which you can learn about here.

Anderson Cooper and Friend

Many CelebriGum entries involve outlandish made-up scenarios, silly doctored photos, and lots of general blah-blah-blah.

It's a nice change of pace when a photo is so odd that I can just let it stand on its own.

For example, Anderson Cooper posing with an alpaca.

Taylor Lautner

As intriguing as the CelebriGum perspective is, looking down on celebrities from the second story, I know it involves a tradeoff.  The huge plus is that the photos include the piece of gum.  However, sometimes the odd angle makes it hard to distinguish the celebrity.

There could potentially be confusion about which dark-haired man is movie star Taylor Lautner.

But this time, we caught a lucky break.

Thank you, sir.

Can you find Taylor Lautner in this photo?

Not sure?  Let Pointin' Man help you!

Pointin' Man is very useful.  I hope he comes back often and points at other celebrities.

Kevin James

The King of Queens?

More like the King of Fans!
October is National It-Sounds-Like-A-Joke Month.  CelebriGum encourages you to join family and friends in chuckling at remarks that initially seem to be jokes but really aren't.

Alec Baldwin, Joe Namath, & Dave

The midtown sidestreet celebrity football event of the year!  And only CelebriGum brings you coverage that includes gum on a window ledge!

Pro Football Hall of Famer Joe Namath, in a rarely-seen NFL "Formal" uniform, prepares to pass to Baldwin as Letterman hikes.

Letterman is in mid-season form.  Namath watches his protege from the sidewalk.

Baldwin is wide open, oddly enough.

That looks like a Sharpie.  Good luck getting that out in the laundry, Alec.

Video Highlight: Dave's Trick Pass!
