The construction barrier and sign try their best to add color, but it's still one of the most monochromatic CelebriGum photos I can recall. Let's see if the photo software can help.
That's a bit perkier.
Every afternoon I stand by a second floor window in the Ed Sullivan Theater and take mediocre photos of guests as they enter and leave the Late Show with David Letterman. In the foreground of each shot is a wad of old gum I noticed on the window ledge. There may be better paparazzi photos on the internet, but this is the only place you'll find the juxtaposition of celebrities and hardened gum. Enjoy!
The gum's resistance to color is fascinating, while the colors in the rest of the photo are mind-blowing. I would posit that the colored image would easily fetch in the high six figures in any of New York's finer art galleries.
ReplyDeleteYes, I like how the gum remained an island of drabness.
ReplyDeletePlease let me know what art galleries specifically you think could hook me up with gullible, wealthy collectors.
Is that Jennifer Garish?! ;)
ReplyDeleteJennifer Garner is still pretty dull, in both photographs.
ReplyDeleteI've only been to NYC once, but if the Late Show is willing to bankroll my trip I will be happy to return and search for a gallery that is worthy of your work. Frankly I doubt there is such a place. We'll probably have to build a new gallery just for you Steve.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, she shines with the subtle yet unmistakeable glow of stardom.
