Nick Offerman

Each year we lose dozens of stars to the tragedy of Spontaneous Celebrity Combustion.

Despite the millions of dollars spent on research, we don't yet know why so many of our precious celebrities suddenly burst into flames.  And once a celebrity has been reduced to a small pile of ash, there's no cure.

CelebriGum commends "Parks and Recreation" star Nick Offerman on his wise decision to always travel with firefighters.  Someday we'll lick this terrible scourge, but for now, better safe than sorry.

  1. Mr. Offerman's an accomplished woodworker (not to mention an accomplished wooden actor) - probably coated with sawdust, and therefore even more susceptible to this horrible fate.

    1. Not a problem in this case. All Late Show guests are powerwashed upon arrival. Note the hose on the street.

    2. A boy scout could probably start a fire with some flint and Nick's mustache.
