Krysten Ritter

It's been quite a week. If you can spend time with something as trivial as celebrities juxtaposed with an old piece of gum, count yourself lucky.

Let's relax with this classically pleasing photo of Krysten Ritter, star of "Don't Trust The B---- in Apartment 23."

The flash of emerald green dress, Krysten's long elegant shadow, the silhouette of Jimmy the security guy on the side of the passing truck... if CelebriGum has a point, it's this blend of beauty and absurdity.

Okay, a five letter word beginning with B. Hmmm... Bialy? Nah, too ethnic. Bidet? Too European. Books? Unlikely; people don't read anymore. Beets? Yeah, probably beets. Root vegetables are hot these days.

  1. Yes, it's "Don't Trust The Beets in Apartment 23". Probably salmonella...

    1. I wouldn't trust any produce from that apartment, frankly.

  2. There are those of us in conspiracyland who wonder if the gum truly did survive Super Storm Sandy, and our fears and conspiracy-mongering are further fueled when you post photos from pre-storm guest arrivals. Unless we see proof of the gum's existence (helpfully with a copy of the New York Times, Post, whatever, next to the gum) we will start to wonder if we can trust the writer in Room 23.

    1. I've taken pictures of post-Monday guests like Jason Sudeikis and Steven Tyler, which you'll see eventually, but you conspiracy nuts will never be satisfied. "Obvious forgery" etc.

It would be pretty easy to Photoshop an old image of the gum onto an empty ledge, though.

    2. Hence the idea of showing the gum with "today's" newspaper, though I suppose that could be photoshopped too. Hmmm, what to do? I know, hire Geraldo Rivera to do a special on all major networks, where he is hoisted on a scissor lift up to the ledge, to reveal whether the gum is still there. If done well it could mirror the great success he enjoyed when he excavated Capone's vault in the 1980's.

  3. Let's see: Bloke, for the Brits among us; or perhaps just don't trust those same Brits ... in Apt. 23. Or could use the old, dependable, dated and somewhat noir-ish, Broad. Or even make it vaguely royal, as in Baron. I could go on, but I'm even boring myself, so ... Hope all is well with everyone living in Sandy's path. Take care, all!
