Don Rickles and Regis Philbin

Don Rickles appreciates CelebriGum as art.  He recognizes that it's a descendant of the mid-20th century Pop Art movement, with its elements of mass culture kitsch, irony, and incongruity.

That's why he honored me by modifying his classic insult.  Mr. Rickles called me a "Hockney puck."

  1. Just realized that if you combine "Pop" and "Rickles" you get "Poprickles."

    Stay in school, kids.

  2. Last time I saw that many bald heads in one photo was in the December Issue of Bald Men Monthly.

    1. Is that the issue in which they all wore Santa hats?

    2. No, Bald Men Monthly doesn't need to do goofy gimmicks like that to sell issues.

Leave it to the genius Don Rickles to put the "art" into "old fart." :)
