And since we're talking about Dyn-o-mite, your Gimmick Month Bonus is:
Alfred Nobel, "The Dyn-o-mite Inventor Who Became Remorseful About The Military Uses Of His Products And Posthumously Established The Nobel Prizes."
Every afternoon I stand by a second floor window in the Ed Sullivan Theater and take mediocre photos of guests as they enter and leave the Late Show with David Letterman. In the foreground of each shot is a wad of old gum I noticed on the window ledge. There may be better paparazzi photos on the internet, but this is the only place you'll find the juxtaposition of celebrities and hardened gum. Enjoy!
I think you missed another Walker, the Street Walker known bests for her recurring role on Times Square.
ReplyDeleteAnd Walker, Texas Ranger. And the late Nancy Walker!
DeleteFUN FACT: Dyn-o-mite was originally developed to remove stubborn, hardened Gum from window ledges...
ReplyDeleteThe problem was, it also removed window ledges, and the buildings they were attached to.
DeleteRubble Gum... :(
DeleteI just "got" that it's gimmick month.
ReplyDeleteThough some would argue that it's been Gimmick Decade for two years now, since the launch of the site, I'm trying to do extra-gimmicky entries this month.
